Captain Shamus’ Buccaholic of the Month!

Jared Thebo

EMPLOYMENT:

I am a second shift Operations Lead for a Flexo label printing company.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

I was raised in New London, WI. I am currently living in Appleton, WI with my fiancé Brenna.

WHO IS YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE PLAYER?

My favorite player of all time is, Mike Evans. Dude is so humble, and he cares so much about Tampa. His charitable work along with his consistent performance year in and year out is why he is my favorite. M1K3

WHO IS YOUR CURRENT FAVORITE PLAYER?

My favorite player currently is, Chris Godwin. It killed me inside watching him go down, assuming the worst. I believe he will come back strong and help bring that championship back home. 🏆

WHEN AND HOW DID YOU BECOME A FAN?

I became a fan in 2002 when we won our first super bowl. I was almost SEVEN and decided that the Bucs were gonna be my team. Plus, red is the best color and pirates are awesome.

WHEN AND HOW DID YOU BECOME A BUCCAHOLIC?

I stumbled upon the Buccaholics page way back and worked with the Wisconsin guys to get our Wisconsin group up and functional.

FAVORITE BUCCAHOLIC MOMENT?

My favorite Buccaholics moment has got to be when we played in Detroit. Jameis went off and had himself one of his best games in a Bucs uniform, and I was there to witness it. Also, the tailgate was setup with Lions fans and they were all very welcoming. It was a great cold weekend on the other side of the lake.

WHAT DOES BEING A BUCCAHOLIC MEAN TO YOU?

What being a Buccaholic means to me is being able to watch Bucs games with other Bucs fans, something I’ve wanted to do regularly since I was a kid.

ANYTHING ELSE YOU MIGHT WANT TO ADD?

I’m a born and raised Wisconsinite who happened to choose the best team in the NFL as my favorite, and haven’t looked back since. Been a rocky road for a few seasons, some expectations met and plenty broken, but I’ve never looked back. Hopefully, we can all meet at the home opener in September, it will be my first time at Raymond James. I literally can’t describe how excited I am to see the GOAT out of retirement beating the crap out of the Packers up and down Raymond James, IN PERSON. If you see me at all, call me out! Looking forward to meeting everyone!
